One Day in the Life

In the One Day in the Life task, students will write about, photograph, and discuss their daily lives. Students will exchange messages and images describing days in their lives with students around the world, and then make cross-cultural comparisons. Students may document aspects of a typical day (like visiting the market or going to school) or they may document special days (like vacations, birthdays, celebrations, or holidays.)

School Uniform Exchange

In the School Uniform Exchange, students will talk about their school uniform tokens, histories, inner cultures, and exchange school activities. This task allows for cultural exchange and communication among students from all over the world. It will help students realize the importance of their value and the spirit of their school, country, and share with others their inner exploration. This task includes several possible classroom activities.

The Teddy Bear Project

The The Teddy Bear Project task aims to foster tolerance and understanding of cultures other than your own. After teachers register, the facilitator matches each class with a partner class. the classes send each other a Teddy Bear or other soft toy by airmail through the normal postal system.  The "bears" will send back diary messages by email or through the iEARN Teddy Bear Forum at least once a week. The students will write the diary messages from the "bears", pretending they are the visiting bears describing their experiences in the new culture.

Wall of Names

The Wall of Names task is designed to support student self-expression using various artistic devices and to teach them to cherish intercultural exchanges. This task includes discussion, research, writing, and creating art. The task includes a description of a possible classroom activity.

In the World We Live in/ Мир, в котором мы живем task, students will discuss the world and environment they live in and how to improve it according to the Sustainable Development Goals with students from different countries. They will share their thoughts, ideas with each other by answering the questions suggested during the discussion as well as by exchanging essays, and sharing pictures and photos

Youngcast Project

The Youngcast Project task is a tandem exchange project in English-Spanish and just in English which provides a structured program of student activities using audio and video podcasting to help students to exchange their ideas and to improve their second language. The task includes a description of the phases of the project.
