The Traveling to School task allows students to demonstrate their ability to interpret graphs and make predictions. Students will look at a graph that depicts how children get to school and answer questions about it. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. Video Recorder

The Video Recorder task allows students to demonstrate their ability to relate am and pm times to a twenty-four hour clock times. Students will complete this task working independently.  There are no resources required for this task.

Wall Paint

The Wall Paint task allows students to demonstrate their ability to measure area. Students will be told the amount of paint needed to paint a wall and will be asked to calculate the amount of paint needed to calculate a wall with doubled dimensions. Students will complete this task working independently. The resource required for this task is an answer booklet.

Weigh-Up

The Weigh-Up task allows students to demonstrate their ability to use a balance scale. Students will weigh and then rank boxes of pebbles from lightest to heaviest. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are four boxes of pebbles (different weight but same size), balance scales, and a mat.
