Sorting
The Sorting task focuses on classification. In this task students will think about why the objects in each bag have been grouped together and will answer ten questions. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. Resources required for this task are three bags, a nail, a balloon, a coin (bag 1: rubber band, plasticine, foam cube; bag 2: metal spoon, magnet, metal paper ring; bag 3: stone, wooden cube, plastic counter)

Sound Chimes
The Sound Chimes task allows students to think about and experiment with the high and low notes. Students will answer seven questions. Students will complete this task working in stations. Resources required for this task include bolt chimes (four bolts of different sizes, suspended on a string from a wire frame mounted on a wooden base, bolts decreasing in size from bolt A to bolt D) and a large nail to use as a striker.

The Spaced Out task allows students to look at a diagram of our solar system and demonstrate their knowledge rotation, gravity, and relationship to sun. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resource required for this task is a diagram of the solar system.
