Balls
The Balls task allows students to demonstrate their ability to estimate weights. Students will hold four different balls and then estimate their weights Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are four balls (foam ball, tennis ball, petanque ball, and a cricket ball), and a recording booklet.

Banana
The Banana task allows students to demonstrate their ability to sing. Students will complete this task working in teams. The resources required for this task are a video on a laptop computer and a special performance card.

Banjo Boxes
The Banjo Boxes task allows students to investigate sound generation and transmission. In this task students students will experiment with a simple, teacher made "banjo box" and answer seven questions. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. Resources required for this task include a “Banjo box”, colored and brown rubber bands, two pieces of dowel, and a picture.

Bank Account
The Bank Account task allows students to demonstrate their ability to relate money transactions to a graph. Students will be shown a bar graph representing the amount of money in a bank account over six days. They will explain what is going on in terms of balances, deposits, and withdrawals. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are a graph and a ruler.

Bat and Bounce
The Bat and Bounce task allows students to demonstrate their personal movement skills, their physical co-ordination, and their ability to manipulate equipment. Students will complete this task in open space. The resources required for this task are a small bat, a small ball, a timer, and a line to place on a wall.

The Batteries task allows students to explore circuits and electricity flow through the correct arrangement of batteries in a flashlight. Students also show problem solving skills by determining and testing which batteries are charged and which are flat. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. Resources required for this task include a flashlight, two good batteries labelled A and D, and two flat batteries labelled B and C.
