The Water task allows students to demonstrate their ability to use book covers to identify an appropriate book, find the appropriate page numbers using the indexes, and use the tables of content to identify which chapters to look in. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are book covers, tables of contents and indexes for three books, and a card listing questions.
