OF2 - Our Footprints, Our Future
In the OF2 - Our Footprints, Our Future task, students will use online tools and resources to measure their carbon footprint and develop ways to reduce their carbon usage. Through the (OF)2 project, students will input data about their lifestyles into a unique online youth calculator developed by Zerofootprint.net that has been adapted to recognize different cultural and socio-economic settings, housing, modes of transportation and food consumption. Students will discuss how their lifestyle affects climate changes around the world.

Unit description from source: In Out of this world, students learn about the solar system. Working in groups, students collect information on the solar system and complete an in-depth study of one aspect, for example, a study of a planet or meteorites. They use a range of reference sources including the Internet and apply the information to produce an information brochure and multimedia presentation to promote tours to their destination.
