Talking Text

The Talking Text task allows students to demonstrate their ability to follow instructions on the computer. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are a computer program on a laptop computer and an instruction booklet.

The Teddy task allows students to demonstrate their ability to observe and use a drawing processes to describe the main features and form of a displayed object. Students will complete this task working independently. The resources required for this task are a teddy bear, a cork base, a pencil, a cloth, paper, and a drawing base board. This task is to be completed in ten minutes.

This task is a part of the Making Art task series from 1999 by NEMP.
