Shape Lines
In the Shape Lines task, students will be given wooden shapes with red lines on them and will be asked to imagine the shape has been cut through the line. They will then have to determine what the shape of the face where it was cut will look like. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are a wooden wedge (cut and hinged) four other wooden shapes marked with red lines, and a card showing several different shapes.
