Measures

The Measures task allows students to demonstrate their ability to estimate measurements. Students will estimate the length of objects and them will actually measure them. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator.  The resources required for this task are a ruler, a measuring tape, and objects (a bolt, a pencil, a stick, and a ribbon).

Model Photos

In the Model Photos task, students will try to order a set of photographs in the order they think they were taken. Then students will use link blocks to try to recreate the model in the photographs. Students will complete this task working in teams. The resources required for this task are two sets of ordered photos, link cubes, and a placement mat.

The Money task allows students to demonstrate their money computation skills by determining how many of ten or twenty cent coins are in a dollar amount. Students will complete this task working independently. The resource required for this task is an answer booklet.
