Video Recorder

The Video Recorder task allows students to demonstrate their ability to relate am and pm times to a twenty-four hour clock times. Students will complete this task working independently.  There are no resources required for this task.

Vocal Sizzle (1996)

The Vocal Sizzle (1996) task allows students to demonstrate their ability to listen to and imitate singing. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. The resources required for this task are audio tracks and a laptop computer.

Wall Paint

The Wall Paint task allows students to demonstrate their ability to measure area. Students will be told the amount of paint needed to paint a wall and will be asked to calculate the amount of paint needed to calculate a wall with doubled dimensions. Students will complete this task working independently. The resource required for this task is an answer booklet.

The resources required for this task are book covers, tables of contents and indexes for three books, and a card listing questions.

Students will look at a picture taken of Earth from outer space, a comet seen in the night sky, and the moon on different nights. They will answer a question about each picture. Students will complete this task working one on one with a teacher-administrator. Resources required for this task include three pictures.
