The Ball Bounce task allows students to plan, carry out and report results for an experiment involving measuring the bounciness of balls. Students will then extrapolate and interpret their results. Students will complete this task working in teams. Resources required for this task include a tennis ball (yellow), a small rubber ball, a rubber ball (mottled), a soft foam ball (pink), a table tennis ball (white), a squash ball (black), a one meter folding ruler, an activity card, and a results sheet.
